Dr. Jacqueline Shamtoob, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist providing couples therapy and marriage counseling in Los Angeles. She specializes in helping couples improve communication, rebuild trust, and restore emotional connection through evidence-based relationship therapy, including premarital counseling and perinatal and postpartum relationship support.
Since 2013, she has helped couples navigate infidelity, high-conflict dynamics, trauma, addiction, family stress, and the transition to parenthood. She holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, with advanced training in attachment-based couples therapy.
Founder of Couple Therapy LA and licensed in California (PSY 32793), Dr. Shamtoob’s work is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, and Imago Relationship Therapy.
